Jean Wright

Jean Wright has been the Administrative Assistant at North Central CBA
since September of 2005. She had been NCCBA’s bookkeeper for the year
previous to that, and continues in that capacity. She also continues to do
bookkeeping for a client in her home state of Alaska.

Jean was born and raised in Palmer, Alaska, forty miles outside of Anchorage.
Her father had a dairy farm for 30 years.   She and her husband, David,
currently live on 55 acres outside of Blair, Wisconsin.  They have three
children who are in high school and college.

After high school, Jean traveled to Biola University in southern California and
graduated Summa Cum Laude, receiving a BA in Communications and
Intercultural Studies.  She spent one summer in the Philippines and a year
and a half in Japan on short-term missions before meeting David (from
upstate New York) in her home church in Alaska.

Their three children were born in Alaska.  David and Jean raised organic vegetables and helped start
the first Farmer’s Market in Anchorage.  They moved to Wisconsin in 1996. Jean likes to garden, read,
and walk on their country road.
